'I can't draw, I can't paint, and I'm not a conventional wedding photographer.'
Tim has been shooting professionally since 2004 and is best described as a Documentary Photographer in his approach to his photography assignments. He loves capturing all that is real and sincere and uncontrived and is equally at home on the street, at a wedding or on assignment.
He was granted 'Official Photographer' status for visits of the British Royal Family to the Isle of Man, documented the Isle of Man TT for 6 years and since he moved back to South Africa has continued in the same vein. He has photographed actors and musicians, artists and photographers, cycle races, political rallies and has even skateboarded with Tony Hawk.
Having documented over 300 weddings while shooting commercially in a variety of environments has refined his candid style of story telling. An outgoing demeanour and his self professed love for people and all the 'Crazy and interesting things we get up to' finds him the perfect observer who mingles with a couple's guests in order to disappear on their wedding day and capture the event as an eyewitness who doesn't miss a thing.
He is currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa along with his wife, fearless daughter, their poodles and a collection of skateboards.
