My career in photography started just 5 years ago, but my photography journey goes back about 12 years to my Art school days in Waterford IT on the south coast of Ireland. Later I completed a Masters in Photography in Dublin. I photographed my first wedding in 2015, & haven't really looked back. I can't say that I wanted to become a wedding photographer but once I had photographed a few, I began to realise that not only could I make a living doing it, it was actually quite fulfilling and rewarding, providing I could work in my own documentary style. As of early 2020, I've photographed over 200 weddings in Ireland (& one in France). Outside of wedding photography, I spend a lot of time working on my street photography both at home & abroad. Wedding photography has allowed me the breathing room to explore other areas of photography & I hope to begin work on some documentary projects in the coming year. Thanks for reading, Ryan
