Captivating Candid Photography: Experience True Authenticity

I am an American living in the beautiful Co Clare, Ireland and even after twelve years, I am completely captivated by my home. In the past, I was an English teacher and a historian and so it is not surprising that I am drawn to stories, and documenting experiences. What matters more to me than awards or publications, is what I hear from my clients, which is that over and over again their photos show them their truth, what they feel about their lives, the people they love, and their memories. But not just that, they feel seen and celebrated - and that is at the very heart of what I do and why I do it. Because every single life has a story that is worth telling, and I give my all to tell it. My wedding photography is very family-oriented and experiential. I am drawn to children, the older generation, and the interactions and moments that make each and every wedding as unique as the people who are there. While I do photograph large events, my favourite weddings are the small & intimate weddings of people who don't feel like they have to play by the rules but want to do their wedding, their way. After all, that's what I do best.
