Shooting an elopement or small Caserta wedding event is a wedding photojournalist’s dream: a fairly open schedule with lots of breathing space for creativity – it’s just the photographer, the couple, the officiant, and perhaps a few select companions.

Members are ready to document any secret, pop-up, mini, or elopement wedding, even if it is a Monday-Thursday ceremony. Search for the “Can Shoot Weddings on Short Notice!” message on the listings below.

We are anxious to create a picture story chronicling your unique, romantic, symbolic, small wedding from beginning to end. In this sense, it is no different from any other event that we have covered. The emphasis is on documenting key moments, capturing spontaneous displays of emotion, telling your real love story, as well as creating artistic portraits and details.

Naples wedding photography by Serena Faraldo of Campania Italy

Class of 1985. Neapolitan by origin and upbringing, Partenope (the Siren from Greek mythology associated with my beautiful city) taught me many things; inside my soul, I feel the warmth and “serenity” of the sea which, if necessary, can become powerful, wavy and stormy. I am a Pisces ascending Lion; I have a passionate soul at heart but can keep an equally quiet and relaxed attitude on the surface, as my name “Serena” suggests. I've been proudly sporting my bangs since I was a kid (though sometimes a little crooked) and I won't let any hairdresser cut them. My fringe is not the only thing I carry with me from my childhood. I started drawing as soon as I was able to hold a pencil between my fingers and never stopped ever since and I still have the same love for art and images. This world made of colors and shapes of my childhood, never faded from inside of me; instead it has evolved, guiding me to explore many forms and expressions of Art. My creativity and passion for art became a precise path of studies all based on images, colors, shapes and Art, starting from Art high school up to a Fine Arts Degrees in graphics and photography. I consider love, and the chance to love, the greatest gift that life can give you; the most powerful fuel for any metaphorical engine. That's why perhaps I’d best describe myself as a “Love photographer” more than as a wedding photographer. I deeply love my job. To me, it’s not just a simple job, but a source of everyday happiness; a dream that comes true every time I’m able to hold my camera and become a storyteller. I love to tell love stories and I do that in the most caring, creative and passionate way. There are many other things that I love, besides my job; I love my dog Rori, who is my little old, grey best friend. To be honest I love all dogs and if I meet one, I have to cuddle him/her for at least 5 minutes! I love my grandmother, my mother and my sister, who are my story and my memory. I love my nephew, Simone. I love vintage stuff. I could spend hours in the flea markets in search of small treasures. I love dancing despite being a terribly uncoordinated person! I love everything that is a "game"; be it a role play, a table game, or a simple video game…I’m in! I love to meet people who have been able to keep their inner child alive, just like I did and I try to do every day of my life. I love travelling, UFO documentaries, swing dance, cold pizza at breakfast, warm pyjamas, watching the stars imagining life on the planets up there, Japanese mochi, and learning. When I’m not working on photography, I spend all my time on travel, music, movies, books and TV series; I strongly believe that all this will keep my mind open, helping me to be a better photographer. REMEMBER WHAT'S IMPORTANT You’re in this position now, about to get married, for...Read more

Oftentimes when people are considering a venue for their weddings, they search for a location away from home, whether that be ten minutes or ten hours, all just to find what they already have: a place that holds meaning for them, that feels comfortable, or that they find special and memorable. But what could hold more memory, meaning, and importance than your own home? For those looking for that perfect venue, it may not be any further than beyond your threshold.Read more
WHAT EXACTLY DOES IT MEAN TO ELOPE? If you look up the definition of “elope” in the Merriam-Webster dictionary , you’ll find a plethora of meanings making it quite clear how polarizing the word has become, and how it has transformed and evolved with the passage of time and even personal preference.Read more
Not everyone has a lagoon or glacier next door, but there's no rule saying you can't have a small wedding in the great outdoors. Take advantage of natural sunshine and that open, airy feeling and give your guests some room to breathe! LESS IS MORE Instead of hemming your guests in on all sides, give them some elbow room, and legroom, too. There's no need to induce claustrophobia when you've got a wide, open space. Let your guests take in the view, especially if you've got a spectacular one. You...Read more
We all know that the economy can go through some hard times, and be somewhat reminiscent of past recessions. However, as people cut back on non-essential little luxuries here and there, one constant remains: weddings. People don’t tend to just stop getting married due to a poor economy, nor should they! So, in an industry that keeps on going through thick and thin, what are some things to expect for the future, and what is really necessary to still make that wedding day memorable and...Read more
Traditionally speaking, often times it is the couple’s families who help pay for their wedding. However, unfortunately that’s just not possible for everyone, especially these days when the cost of weddings can quickly and easily get out of control. Some couples find themselves in the position of paying for all of their own wedding expenses, which can be quite the financial burden to take on, and about 40% of Millennials end up in this boat. So, how can you stick to your allotted...Read more
