Shortly before I started my photographer's career in 2012, times were very challenging for me because I didn't have a job for 6 months straight. The only job I could find was an online coupon agency, just like Groupon, but local. It was an extremely demanding job. I was in charge of the creative department and was an editor as well for online ads of different local businesses. Many of these businesses I didn't even know but still had to make them look like they were “the bomb“. It was an 8-hour straight job in front of a computer creating the ads, answering emails, making phone calls and doing customer service and I was doing all this trying to be as charming and convincing as Steve Jobs, but I felt absolutely miserable. One day I decided to send some pictures of mine to a photo contest advertised in a local paper. So I sent some I used to take during very relaxing photo-walks around Puerto Vallarta with my wife Melissa on my days off. And guess what? I won. And the prize was a position as a 1st photographer in an exclusive resort! I felt like the luckiest man alive! But the thing is, I didn't know ANYTHING technical about photography, I didn't know about composition, ISO, shutter speed or apertures. I was a layman really. But my boss didn't care about those technicalities and he told me very seriously on my first assignment: “Here's your camera, you have your first wedding at 6:00 pm“. And I was like: “ Okay, I better make this work...“ LOL. Fortunately for me (and most importantly, for the bride), the pictures didn't suck. But obviously, they were far from great and I didn't want to cheat myself or anybody else again, so after that experience, I committed myself to become the best photographer I could be. I've been studying, training, learning and practicing since then and I've never stopped. Now, I am so grateful because I do what I love the most, with the person I love the most. I was born in Los Angeles, California (to Peruvian parents) and have lived throughout Northern and Southern Cali most of my life until about March 2011 when I decided to up & move to Lima, Peru to pursue my dream of being a full-time photographer and documenting social work in the slums of Lima. After graduating from California State University at Fullerton in 2010 with a bachelor's in Visual Communication & minor in Sociology, I attended several photojournalism workshops around the world for years including Look3 Festival of the Photograph workshops (Charlottesville, VA) and Foundry Photojournalism Workshop in Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Mexico City, BodaF in Querétaro, Mexico and Beyond [Wedding Photography] Workshop in Lima, Peru 2016 & 2017. Each of these experiences brought out a different world within me and taught me the value of photography as a tool to help us see, not only things or other people but ourselves. I’ve been photographing couples and families for over 10 years now, but falling in love and having experienced what it’s like to be the bride first-hand has changed the way that I see through my viewfinder at weddings. I am an utterly hopeless romantic and I can see and feel the love around me much more now than ever before. I get it. I offer real, emotive, and breathtaking images that capture who you truly are and all the joy you are feeling on your day. I also love to capture the behind the scenes bits, which I feel are the most interesting and telling; the pre-ceremony jitters, the anxiety in the dressing room, the sheer madness and beauty of it all. I live for these raw moments and am always ready to capture them when you least expect or even notice. Let me share my passion and years of photography experience with you. Maybe we can get a coffee together and you can tell me all about how your story began and how you want to remember it. [Miami Wedding Photographer]

My name is Victor Ataide and I work since 2012 as a wedding photographer, families and events in Brazil and abroad. I chose photography because I love telling stories through images. And it is through photography that I have reframed my concepts of love, passion, dream, and challenge. There are stories that allow me to immerse myself, become part of them, and consequently generate a great responsibility for me: faithfully portraying the feelings that emerge and sublime moments in people's lives. These stories were essential for me to win over 40 awards at leading international photography associations. I am an accountant of emotions, feelings, lives, complicity and most importantly, of love. Without it, we are nothing and feel. Love is responsible for generating in us the strength capable of capturing all the beauty emanating through photography. I am here to make my contribution as a witness to happy stories, always hoping that they will last forever. I am completely inspired by God and always looking for his presence. Without Him, I would not be here. I also enjoy good music, especially if I'm in the company of my friends and people who do me good. I have traveled the world capturing with my lens the most beautiful and incredible love stories. [Minas Gerais Wedding Photographer]

Hi, I'm an Italian destination wedding photographer born in Florence and located since 2007 in Playa del Carmen. I am a Philosophy graduate and I discovered the art of photography many years ago, I remember the first contact with the photography…… I was visiting Florence and I met in the city downtown the Exhibition of Herbert List (German Photographer) and I fell in love with the “Click” that stop the time. Eureka!!!!! I understood what will be my job and passion. I’m a lucky guy to have the opportunity to do my passion and I can call it a job. I’m very happy about that, I spent a lot of energy to be a professional destination and elopement wedding photographer and now I’m living my dream. I have the privilege to live in Paradise and to capture with my camera the most important day in the lives of people. I’m so grateful to the universe to give me this gift. I’m a storyteller and my goal is to fix forever in the images emotions, feelings and moments. I feel like a writer where every story is a chapter of a universal book called love. I was born in Barcelona, Spain in 1980. I started working as a photographer in 2006 when I founded in my hometown a company dedicated to advertising photography. At that time, I was especially focused on portrait and fashion photography and I worked for big companies and well-known advertising agencies. Over time, I became interested in wedding photography until I decided finally to devote myself completely to it. In 2008, I started doing wedding photo shoots out of my city, and gradually my work as wedding photographer became more and more internationally known. In 2013, I decided to move to Mexico in order to shoot the weddings I had always dreamed of. I toured Mexico from north to south doing many photo shoots. I worked in Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Campeche, Merida, Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Tulum, among many other places. On a personal level, I have also visited different continents around the world. I know America, Europe, Africa and some of Asia. I love music, movies, art and literature. I am passionate about photography—the act of capturing the beauty of a moment and freezing it in time. Today I live in Playa del Carmen and I am dedicated to shooting destination weddings for couples from all over the world. [Playa del Carmen Wedding Photographer]

I was born and raised in France, after my studies in marketing and a few small jobs I decided to dedicate myself to capture the best moments of families in the Riviera Maya Mexico. I believe photography should always try to capture emotions first, I strive to create candid images that tell the story of your day! I think that before being a good photographer I am a good human being. That for me is the key to be able to take great images. [Playa del Carmen Wedding Photographer]
