Elopement Photographers for Small Cambridgeshire Weddings

Shooting an elopement or small Cambridge wedding event is a wedding photojournalist’s dream: a fairly open schedule with lots of breathing space for creativity – it’s just the photographer, the couple, the officiant, and perhaps a few select companions.

Members are ready to document any pop-up, civil ceremony, quick, or elopement wedding, even if it is a Monday-Thursday ceremony. Search for the “Can Shoot Weddings on Short Notice!” message on the listings below.

We are anxious to create a picture story chronicling your boutique, romantic, casual, small wedding from beginning to end. In this sense, it is no different from any other event that we have covered. The emphasis is on documenting key moments, capturing spontaneous displays of emotion, telling your real love story, as well as creating artistic portraits and details.

Worcestershire wedding reportage and elopement photography by Tom Beynon, of West Midlands, England

Hello there. I’m Tom, a documentary wedding photographer from Cambridgeshire, UK. I took up photography while travelling in New Zealand a few years ago and have been working as a wedding photographer since 2016, covering weddings across the UK and from Kent to The Lake District. Away from photography, my hobbies include playing the guitar & drums, listening to a lot of classic rock and pretty much any music from my teenage years in the 1990s. I'm rather addicted to The Simpsons (classic seasons only, mind you) and don't function in the morning until I've downed a coffee. I'm a bit of night owl, most of my editing is done between 10 pm to 2 am. I love to travel. I've been across South East Asia, South America, Australia, New Zealand and spent three months driving from coast to coast in the USA. [Cambridge Wedding Photographer]

Suffolk based wedding and elopement photographer Dominic Whiten

Hi, I'm Dominic. I've worked in photography for more years than I care to admit to (it's more than half my life), and began shooting weddings in 2008. More than 10 years later and I still put my heart and soul into photographing each and every wedding, with the aim of providing my couples with a set of artistic, timeless and beautiful photographs that tell the story of their day. After many years in London and the South-East, I've made my home on the Suffolk coast - I pinch myself every day to be fortunate enough to live in a truly beautiful part of the country. WPJA Communiqué: Features
It’s no secret that these are strange times we’re going through right now, and there are many couples out there with weddings set in the near future who are left feeling uncertain and concerned about their futures. While that’s understandable, it’s also important to remember the reason you’re getting married in the first place; not for the grand celebration, but because you love each other and want to be together. REMEMBER WHAT'S IMPORTANT You’re in this position now, about to get married, for...Read more
Traditionally speaking, often times it is the couple’s families who help pay for their wedding. However, unfortunately that’s just not possible for everyone, especially these days when the cost of weddings can quickly and easily get out of control. Some couples find themselves in the position of paying for all of their own wedding expenses, which can be quite the financial burden to take on, and about 40% of Millennials end up in this boat. So, how can you stick to your allotted...Read more
While some of us were fortunate enough to be born as extroverts, not everyone feels the same way. For a good chunk of the population, any number of the typical wedding day traditions can inspire anxiety and existential dread. This day is all about you, yes, but does that mean all the attention has to be on you as well? FROM VOWS TO CHITCHAT, WHICH REMAINS SACRED? Traditional weddings often require some degree of performance on the part of the couple, whether that is in the form of reciting...Read more
Oftentimes when people are considering a venue for their weddings, they search for a location away from home, whether that be ten minutes or ten hours, all just to find what they already have: a place that holds meaning for them, that feels comfortable, or that they find special and memorable. But what could hold more memory, meaning, and importance than your own home? For those looking for that perfect venue, it may not be any further than beyond your threshold.Read more

Some couples, as they begin planning for their weddings, might think that they are limited to the classic locations: churches, gardens, beaches, or even Las Vegas. But in doing so they’re missing out on a multitude of unique options that might suit their personalities much better! Why limit yourself to a quiet, quaint ceremony when your adventurous heart may be calling out for something more? An entirely different genre of wedding, so to speak, is the adventure wedding elopement. This concept...Read more

Everyone always says that your wedding day is all about you. But let’s face it; that’s not always actually the case. Many couples stress over guest lists, planning, expenses, and all the frills and traditions of your standard large wedding that they may or may not even be interested in. Fortunately, though, the concept of small weddings is becoming increasingly popular for couples who either want to be able to completely customize their day where and when they want with the option...Read more

Relaxed reception wedding reportage photographer in Suffolk, UK

Olivia & Chris

We just want to say a really huge THANK YOU for providing Chris and Livi with so many beautiful reminders of a truly magical day. Despite the rather rubbish weather you truly excelled in being in the right place at the right time and, as always, capturing that precious moment in time whilst seeming so unobtrusive. Not only did you stay for the entire day but also most of the night! Plus giving up time to return on the Monday evening to take those extra, sunny and relaxed shots shows a dedication far beyond what most would contemplate. We are all so very glad we chose you to immortalise The Day and I will continue to promote your work to any couples I can. Gunilla (Mother of the Groom)

Thank you so much for our beautiful photographs - we are so pleased and have enjoyed looking through them over and again. You captured the day perfectly and it's been great to look back through your photos and see all those moments we didn't have a chance to take in at the time. On the day you were calming and we hardly noticed you are there (in a good way!). You made us feel as ease and relaxed which really shows in the photos!
