Elopement Photographers for Small Cambridgeshire Weddings
Shooting an elopement or small Cambridge wedding event is a wedding photojournalist’s dream: a fairly open schedule with lots of breathing space for creativity – it’s just the photographer, the couple, the officiant, and perhaps a few select companions.
Members are ready to document any DIY - do it yourself, city hall, pop-up, or elopement wedding, even if it is a Monday-Thursday ceremony. Search for the “Can Shoot Weddings on Short Notice!” message on the listings below.
We are anxious to create a picture story chronicling your boutique, religious, symbolic, small wedding from beginning to end. In this sense, it is no different from any other event that we have covered. The emphasis is on documenting key moments, capturing spontaneous displays of emotion, telling your real love story, as well as creating artistic portraits and details.

Hello there. I’m Tom, a documentary wedding photographer from Cambridgeshire, UK. I took up photography while traveling in New Zealand a few years ago and have been working as a wedding photographer since 2016, covering weddings across the UK and from Kent to The Lake District. Away from photography, my hobbies include playing the guitar & drums, listening to a lot of classic rock, and pretty much any music from my teenage years in the 1990s. I'm rather addicted to The Simpsons (classic seasons only, mind you) and don't function in the morning until I've downed a coffee. I'm a bit of a night owl, my productive hours are 6 pm to 2 am. I love to travel. I've been across South East Asia, South America, Australia, New Zealand, and spent three months driving from coast to coast in the USA. [Cambridge Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I'm Dominic. I've worked in photography for more years than I care to admit to (it's more than half my life), and began shooting weddings in 2008. More than 10 years later and I still put my heart and soul into photographing each and every wedding, with the aim of providing my couples with a set of artistic, timeless and beautiful photographs that tell the story of their day. After many years in London and the South-East, I've made my home on the Suffolk coast - I pinch myself every day to be fortunate enough to live in a truly beautiful part of the country. [Suffolk Wedding Photographer]
I have taken quite a journey to be where I am now, I sort of accidentally ended up becoming a wedding photographer. And I am very happy my plans went awry because this job has enriched my life. Introduced me to so many amazing experiences and people over years. I started off studying astrophysics, had some babies, got Rage Against the Machine to number one at Christmas, and now I photograph weddings. For well over a decade now. And the babies are now wonderful grown-up adult sons. When I'm not at a wedding I will be shooting a festival or a gig. Weddings and music are where I get to photograph people letting go and being themselves. A muddy field to an elegant country house venue and everything in between. I get to know so many interesting people in these places my camera takes me, and that is why I am glad I've ended up here. [Essex Wedding Photographer]

Lauren and I can’t thank you enough for our photos, they are absolutely beautiful and we love them all! We have spent most of the weekend looking at them over and over again and can't find the words to thank you enough for your tireless hard work. Amazing!
We just want to say a really huge THANK YOU for providing Chris and Livi with so many beautiful reminders of a truly magical day. Despite the rather rubbish weather you truly excelled in being in the right place at the right time and, as always, capturing that precious moment in time whilst seeming so unobtrusive. Not only did you stay for the entire day but also most of the night! Plus giving up time to return on the Monday evening to take those extra, sunny and relaxed shots shows a dedication far beyond what most would contemplate. We are all so very glad we chose you to immortalise The Day and I will continue to promote your work to any couples I can. Gunilla (Mother of the Groom)
Thank you so, so much for capturing our special memories so beautifully. Your photographs are simply wonderful and looking through them brings back so many amazing moments, they are breathtaking! You were fantastic to have around on the day, very calm and professional, everyone kept telling us how lovely you were! We couldn't be happier and are very grateful to have had you there.
Hi Dominic, I wanted to say a huge thank you for helping to make Sophie and Chris’s day so special. As Mum, I hugely appreciated your calm, discreet and valuable input into the day. The photos are truly lovely and so captured the essence of who they both are. Donna (Mother Of The Bride)
Thank you so much for our beautiful photographs - we are so pleased and have enjoyed looking through them over and again. You captured the day perfectly and it's been great to look back through your photos and see all those moments we didn't have a chance to take in at the time. On the day you were calming and we hardly noticed you are there (in a good way!). You made us feel as ease and relaxed which really shows in the photos!
