What is Reportage?
On Instagram and elsewhere, one can see images labeled as #photojournalism or #reportage when they are, in fact, merely photos. As a photojournalist, your mission was to capture the spirit of the day, so that we could relive the moments in the years to come and you did that beautifully. Everyone has remarked on how amazing the photographs are - not just in terms of the moments that you captured, but also your genuine skill as a photographer and we couldn't be more pleased. The other comment I hear all the time is the fact that nobody noticed you taking pictures. It was all very unobtrusive so everyone relaxed. As a person, we couldn't have asked for someone more warm and friendly - My children loved you and one is quite shy so this is a major achievement.
