Photographer Skilled in Artfully Capturing Emotional Wedding Moments

Hello! I'm Hailey. I work alongside my husband, Joel, to artfully capture emotional documentary wedding photos in Maine and New England. I started photographing in 2010 while studying English and creative writing at the University of Maine. Initially, I had planned to pursue a career in writing, but I realized that I could tell real-life stories by combining my love of storytelling with my first love, photography, which I had studied since childhood. We regularly photograph in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, midcoast Maine, western Maine, and southern Maine.

Hailey and Joel, wedding photographers based in Bangor, Maine, have been capturing beautiful celebrations for 14 seasons. Their wedding blog features weddings and elopements, such as Lily & MW’s Lobster Bake Welcome Party in Deer Isle, Nikki & Andrew’s Bear Mountain Inn wedding, Amanda & Parker’s backyard wedding in Biddeford Pool, and Brenna & Evan’s Sand Beach ceremony in Acadia National Park. Each event is documented with authenticity and joy.

Their style is vibrant, joyful, and moment-focused, capturing natural interactions with a relaxed approach. Portraits are kept simple and casual, with light posing to ensure genuine expressions. Hailey and Joel's editing style is bold, bright, and true to life, reflecting the authentic essence of each celebration. For more about their approach and experience, visit their FAQs page.
