I have always loved photography. Maybe that's why after many sacrifices it has also become my job. I studied Physics at the University of Salento in Lecce and after graduation, I did a training internship in Health Physics at the oncological hospital of Lecce, in Puglia. After so many years of study, it is difficult to question what has been created and totally change life and work. I did it. I have been dealing with wedding photography for several years now and I specialize in photographic reportage. I love telling stories: especially when the main topic is love. My base of operations is in Puglia but I work all over the world. [Lecce Wedding Photographer]
Hi, my name is Marco Colonna, I live and take pictures every minute of my days. I was born in Cosenza in 1984 in a neighborhood in the city center. I define myself as a dreamer, I love to observe, I am curious and I look for simplicity. I was very young when I started to take an interest in photography, but it was the scouting experience that stimulated me and led me to cultivate this passion. With the passage of time, it has evolved, taking on the forms of a dream in which to believe. Photography has always intrigued and excited me, not only for its strong ability to convey emotions but above all for its great power to tell stories. In life as in photography, there is always something to learn so I am always looking for something new. I am fascinated by the beauty, emotions, spontaneity, and wonder that can emerge at any time of the day. I like to capture these moments with naturalness and respect because they are destined to last over time. On the day of the wedding, I tell the day as it was lived, trying to bring back the joy, love, and emotions of the spouses. [Taranto Wedding Photographer]
Matteo Lomonte was born in 1983 in Gioia del Colle, a little town in the south of Italy. In 2001 he started to develop his passion for photography and after a self-taught training, he worked with professional photographers all over Italy. His passion became deeper, especially his interest for the importance of the light and the value of shadows. His will to learn new techniques led him to different types of photography genres, especially engagement photography. His need to photograph pushed him to be willing to travel all over the world. [Bari Wedding Photographer]
Marco Odorino has been working as a photographer since 1997 while traveling and living internationally. His philosophy to photography is simple: be present and capture the natural essence of every day life. Often it is the subtle, overlooked moments that define such a beautiful day. I photograph everything from the traditional formal group portraits, to that special undefined quality unique to each wedding. The wedding day is something special and so are the photographs. Based in Puglia and United States, Marco Odorino specializes in capturing the charm and elegance of your wedding. Marco’s style is unobtrusive and non-invasive: “fly-on-the-wall”. Marco has covered weddings in California,Israel, France, Swizzerland, Germany and of course Italy. His style is relaxed and fun and his personality is reflected in his simple yet and unique wedding photos. He feels extremely blessed to have a career he is so passionate about. [Bari Wedding Photographer]
Hello! I'm Francesco Marinelli, I was born in a little Apulian village in 1978. Why a wedding photographer? Because there's nothing more interesting and fulfilling to me that compose a story of one of the most exciting days of our life. I love to photograph weddings and elopements for couples in the Apulian countryside, but also to travel and discover new places, meet people and experience new cultures. I love naturalness and spontaneity and always look to capture emotions. It might sound cuddly, but no words explain love as the glances, gestures, and silences of those who really love. Trying to grasp these nuances is more than a job to me: it's a therapy to regain the beauty of life in the folds of nowadays not always reassuring life. [Taranto Wedding Photographer]
Nicola Cipriani, owner & creative director of Puglia Wedding Photo started producing wedding photography and films back in 2000 with one goal in mind… to create something priceless, authentic and unforgettable for brides and grooms the world over so that their special day lives on forever. Located in Bari in southern Italy Nicola travels wherever he is requested/commissioned tirelessly capturing moments that only the celebration of matrimony offers. A visionary and eclectic photographer and filmaker, he distinguishes himself by his thought originality and passion for research. Experimentation and his incurable refusal of the norm are at the basis of his creativity. The lack of rhetoric in his works translates itself as a true and personal vision of the world with the ability to upset and astonish. [Bari Wedding Photographer]
I’m Simone, an elopement and wedding photographer based in Tuscany! I was born in Florence and I was fortunate enough to grow up in this city. As a boy, I was fascinated by all the art surrounding me which has influenced my photography. Now I live in a small village in the Tuscan countryside between Florence, Siena, and Arezzo, with my beautiful wife Katherine and my little dog Greta. I think of myself as a dreamer and a traveler, with an introspective and joyful attitude. It is important for me to portray your emotions, that of the guest and various emotions perceived throughout the day together with my sentiments and feelings. What is my goal? My goal is to tell through wedding photography what you feel in those moments, to capture the emotions of both the couple and the guest. I try to give with my photographs something emotional, beyond the simple technique. [Arezzo Wedding Photographer]
I have the restless mind of those who have dreams and desires hidden among the stars. The first thing I clearly remember is when at the age of 6 I started to draw copying from a Mickey Mouse comic book. From then my entire life has been linked to visual art. I've always been a stubborn person, this has led my life through good and bad decisions until in 2008 I decided to become a photographer. My first passion anyway has always been music, my mother and father are two rock 'n' roll souls who gave me good ears and the chance to express myself with the things I love the most. When I started shooting pictures, I started from music. I've been following local bands, gigs, and festivals for years, I've worked (I still am) in recording studios as photographer/videomaker. There never been a single day without listening at least one song in my life. Little by little I entered into the wedding business, which is my main activity since 2012. I'm a lifetime daydreamer, a romantic soul who still believes in good simple things such an eye-contact, a hug or a moment of silence staring at a warm sunset. I search for the truth hidden in one of those moments, taking pictures for me means capturing a moment between two moments, and giving it to eternity, stopping time. I think to myself as a free astronaut, a cosmonaut who sails aimlessly and relentlessly in the sidereal space of his thoughts and curiosities. I live among the stars. [Naples Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I'm Federica! I was born in Naples in 1987. I have coffee flowing in my veins and a strong Neapolitan soul. I am strongly linked to my land and to my origins, even though I feel I belong to the whole world. I love Asia, Asian peoples, and Buddhism. I love traveling, as soon as I can I prepare my backpack and leave. I am a greedy perennially on a diet, I love white chocolate and pizza, strictly Neapolitan. I love simple things, I like habits and routine, but I am one with headshots. My motto is “let you go“. I am precise, determined and solar. I look tough, actually I’m very sensitive. My colleagues nicknamed me “the sergeant” because when I work I am serious and very strict. I don’t let one pass. Despite this, at every wedding, I am moved. I hide the tears behind the camera, the only place where I feel safe. I abandoned after a 9-year course of study and a specialization in Food Science to live of photography. I love weddings. I love the emotions of the spouses, the unpredictability of people, I love tears, deep looks, intertwined hands, the warmth of families, strong hugs, children who run and get dirty, grandparents who fall asleep. I try to tell every story in a simple, natural and elegant way, as I perceive it and live it. I simply let myself be carried away by emotions and by the day, without directing it or modifying the natural course of events. I like to think that my story will be a memory forever in someone’s life. I love this job because, in reality, for me, it’s not a job and, as someone says: “love your job and you’ll never work a day of your life”. [Naples Wedding Photographer]
I’m a Tuscany wedding photographer based in Siena, but I work in all of Italy for weddings. I have taken photos for weddings in Siena, Florence, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Milano, Como Lake, Rome, in the Chianti hills, in Val D’Orcia, and in many other beautiful italian locations. I have a reportage style in which a discrete approach, attention to details and spontaneity are the main ingredients. I always have this objective: to create a story through photos, a photo narration as faithful and natural as possible. That’s why from the beginning, I try to establish starting with the first contact with the future bride and groom, a rapport or feeling of confidence to create a tranquil and relaxed atmosphere that permits me to give life to natural and spontaneous photos full of meaning and sentiment. I was born in Siena in 1977. I graduated with a degree in political science and I obtained a doctorate in the history of European political parties. After working several years at the University of Siena, various events and my passion for photography led me to the decision to become a professional photographer. Shortly after starting my career as an exclusive Tuscany wedding photographer, I was fortunate enough to gain experience in the art world. I published for the magazines Play Boy Italy and Art Tribune and showed my photos at exhibitions at various art galleries ( Wikiarte, Magazzini del Sale). After the birth of my first daughter ( Maria Ludovica) my main focus became to be a Siena Wedding Photographer, a exclusive Tuscany wedding photographer and everywhere in Italy. I know every angle of my marvelous region: Siena, Florence, Arezzo and all of the beautiful villages and towns. San Gimignano, Chianti hills, Val d’Orcia and the Crete senesi hold no secrets for me. Other than wedding photography, I also teach at “ Studiumfotografia”, a school I created, where I advise many up and coming photographers. After the birth of my second daughter (Maria Luce), the University of Siena gave me the honor of the position of visiting lecturer of digital communications in photography. When I’m not working (rarely) I dedicate myself to my passions: naturally Ludi and Luce, but I also love watching movies, reading and I cannot live without music! Contact me for your Exclusive Tuscany wedding photographer. [Siena Wedding Photographer]
When I was a child, my father, Francesco Armocida, used to bring me to his little dark-room in our home in Brooklyn, where I was born. He was working as an artist and re-toucher for a large advertising agency in New York at the time. He had the great fortune to meet photographers like Avedon and Kertesz, who would shoot and print their photos where he worked. The dark-room was like a rebirth for me. It was a magical feeling to see the images appear slowly. This was my fantastic introduction to photography. We soon moved to Calabria, Italy, where I now live with my wife and children. As a young university student I adored photographing the wonderful aspects of nature. I loved using selective focus and shallow depth of field to create magical atmospheres that reminded me of my father’s paintings. I soon developed a great interest in portrait photography and studied lighting techniques. I took portrait courses and followed many wedding photographers helping them during wedding shootings: then I found out that not only in wedding photography you have to be a good photographer but you really should also have a certain behaviour to achieve a certain kind of photography, the one I was and still seeking for today: capture moments with low photographer ‘interference’. I prefer the documentary style, the one that captures the real, emotional moment. Unlike ‘fixed’ pictures and concocted scenarios, I am aiming to capture genuine life-moments. It is an honour to be part of the WPJA. Not only is it a guideline for B&G, but it is also a tool to help photographers meet couples’ needs. [Reggio Calabria Wedding Photographer]
Francesca Vitulano - Documentary wedding photographer based in Umbria. Hi, I'm Francesca and I'm the female soul of "Framelines" studio. I’ve been photographing weddings professionally since 2012 all over Italy and abroad. With a Bachelor Degree and a Master in Fine Arts, I became interested in photojournalism while studying Set Design. Started with a strong passion, photography became year by year my full-time job. My professional dream was to work in an international and dynamic environment and "Framelines" offered me the chance to work with couples coming from all over the world, to be creative and have the chance to experiment. I really didn't think twice. I have quickly learned the rules of wedding photography and thanks to my sensitive soul I've discovered that my war-horse is to enter completely in intimate with the subject I'm shooting and this allows me to be constantly present documenting the wedding with an unobtrusive vision in order to enhance the raw emotions and the un-posed spontaneous moments. I now photograph between 30-40 weddings a year and I’m lucky enough to be involved in very different ceremonies (Catholic, Civil, Symbolic, Jewish, Indian, Arabic, Orthodox) that give me the chance to enter strictly in contact with different cultures from all over the world. Beside the Italian territory, I also flew over Italy border for capturing destination weddings abroad: In my "photographer passport" you can see few traditional three-days weddings in Morocco, two international marriages in the Netherlands and a Scotland wedding. The best feedback I received is when one of my clients tell me that through my images you can really touch the positive vibes of the wedding day, you can really see people enjoy. That's true because wedding photography is something I authentically love and enjoy doing. Professional Association: - I'm an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), one of the most prestigious photography associations for international weddings. [Perugia Wedding Photographer]
I started my award-winning photojournalism career in Boston shooting for The Boston Herald, Boston Red Sox, and Harvard University and have been shooting weddings and events here in Chicago since 2011. I love photographing weddings because I love telling stories. Few events lend themselves such an obvious beginning, middle, and end as weddings and fewer still feature wily grandmothers teaching The Wobble to their grandchildren or the quiet smile of a proud father. I capture great moments and tell unforgettable stories. Let me tell yours. [Chicago Wedding Photographer]
Stefano Snaidero was born in Venice in 1979. His passion for photography develops following the footsteps of the great reporters Studia Reportage obtaining a Masters in Photojournalism at the Superior Institute of Photography in Rome and immediately starts working with the most important newspapers and national weeklies. From 2004 to 2008 he was photographer of the most important Italian photojournal agencies, creating exclusive services for Ansa, Contrasto, Grazia Neri and Prospekt. In the years 2006-2007 he was assistant photographer Mimmo Jodice with whom he worked for the realization of the book "Rome" published by Johan & Levi. In the world of photography and video ceremonies he has been working since 2003 with field training with the most important photographic studios in Rome where he refines a technique that combines the ability to capture unique moments of reportage, with the elegance and exclusivity of images typical of the fashion and the star system. Also in Rome, he founded the INESSE Handmade Photography® studio, which makes his distinctive trait of reportage, creating elegant, dynamic and high-quality images. "Mine is a work that comes from a strong passion, but that has given me a great responsibility: to transform into images of unrepeatable moments that will one day be your memories. Whether they are photographic or video, what I'm looking for is to make unique all the moments in which you will choose to have me at your side, trying with discretion to understand what makes your story unique." Rachele Mosolo, born in 1990. I define myself as an enthusiast of things. A hardened dreamer who has always been passionate about photography, good music, travel, new cultures, people and to touch things by hand, for me true beauty is the simple reality of the world, sweet or cruel it may be. I love the reportage and fully immerse myself in what surrounds me. I photograph any situation along this line, I think it is the best way to create eternal memories: those photos that even after years make you relive the emotion of the first time. I love true love and I want to photograph it "up close": I like the idea of being a witness of your emotions and I want to tell them with feeling, delicacy, simplicity, and sense of reality. We are absolutely delighted with the pictures, we cannot thank you enough :) One problem though, how am I supposed to pick out a few favourites when there are too many favourites! We loved so many of them that I couldn't pick any shots in particular, but some of the action shots are brilliant, particularly whilst we are dancing. It bought back so many great memories from the day and you have captured the atmosphere perfectly. Going through the pictures it was like we were there again. Everyone loved them and commented how much it bought back the day. I honestly cannot praise you enough for the pictures, we were so happy :D
Dear Francesca, I asked Simona to thank you from both Francesco and I...but I really want to say it myself too. From my heart, thank you so very much! You are so talented and we absolutely LOVE our wedding photos. You captured our happy day so perfectly. Francesco thinks I am silly because I have been looking at the photographs for hours every day :) During our wedding, several people also commented on your lovely personality and gentle manner too. This made me very proud. Thank you for being professional, for being lovely and for taking incredible photographs. Sei meraviglioso!
WOW Marco!!! We LOVE it! It's magical. Thank you for your creativity and kindness, we are so glad we have this to remember the best day by. Thanks for the two cameras- fantastic editing and story (beginning is great!). You're right, Kartik was very sweet :) It's SO good. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I will let all my San Francisco and California friends know that you are the only logical choice when they need a photographer. I hope all is well in Puglia. We intend to visit again in September :) xo, breeze
We met with other photographers about a year ago, but they were either too aggressive or too passive and all fairly cliche. Not so with you. It's true that when we met you, we appreciated your laid-back vibe and promise that you wouldn't ask Sarah to stare plaintively out a window. But we didn't know you were masterful until we saw our engagement photos. We love the candidness and joy, even silliness, and the art. The shot of us standing in the Logan Square train vestibule, our illuminated backs to the lens, slightly elevated, with our reflection catching the opposite Plexiglas wall, behind which a sea of blues and purples bathe us is still Charles' desktop background. Your reconnaissance and eye for perfect light combined with your ease in assembling children and adults, we're sure, proved the right balance to allow us to enjoy the celebration while documenting it for perpetuity. Thank you for visiting parks weeks beforehand and getting in the mix - whether in a hot glass-blowing studio or nearly crushed in the center of the Hora - the day of. You're a trooper.
The photos we received were absolutely gorgeous. My wife and I could not have been happier with them, which is saying something because she hates all photos of herself. Also, we had some unexpected snow and freezing weather, but you made sure to make the outdoor shots as painless as possible. The snow ended up looking stunning in the photos too, so that was a silver lining. You're definitely a great photographer with a more artistic touch to your photos as well.
