Calgary wedding and elopement photography by Sarah Manton of Alberta Canada

I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer located in Olds Alberta, Canada. To sum me up; I'm a mom to two amazing boys, married to my best friend for over 13 years, a community volunteer and an outdoor enthusiast. I've lived in Alberta for over 15 years but I originally called Ontario home. Growing up in the stunningly beautiful area of Muskoka and Georgian Bay; a passion for landscape photography began at a young age. I grew up with a camera in hand, using film and a dark room. I always loved landscape photography (and still do; you can check it out on Instagram @_sarahmanton) but ten years ago friends of mine really pushed me out of my comfort zone and asked me to be their wedding photographer. After that first experience (despite it being terrifying) I was hooked! Capturing the love between families and couples is such an honour. Love is Love and its inspirational, uplifting and the world always needs more. My approach to capturing you is simple, natural, laid back and non-intrusive. I take a photojournalistic approach, focusing on moments and details; more candid and less posed. I want clients to enjoy their experience with me and absolutely cherish their images. Alberta and Edmonton wedding photography by Lauren Hannah Garcia of Canada

My passion for photography began at an early age and grew in the darkroom of my high school. I began shooting weddings as an assistant/ second photographer and took the leap into my own business more than a decade ago. My enthusiasm for wedding photography stems from an interest in connections, whether between the couple, family or friends (the family we choose), and a desire to work with people. I enjoy the excitement, mirth, and frenzy of the wedding day itself and love the chance to create joyful, creative, emotive or unexpected images for my couples. My other passions include hiking with my dog, running and enjoying the outdoors. Or on lazy days a good book with a cup of tea. [Edmonton Wedding Photographer]

Ontario / Brampton wedding and elopement photography by Aniket Sananse of Canada

I am a freelance wedding photographer from Toronto. Besides the wedding and elopements, I also cover photoshoots for newborns, family and candid couple portraits. My father being a passionate photographer introduced me to a camera in my early childhood. I was so surprised and amazed at how a tiny device can capture moments and lock them away forever. Even having a Bachelors degree in Pharmacy - just didn't felt enough to be satisfied and so I decided to follow the passion & started AS Photography in 2012. [Brampton Wedding Photographer]

Canadian wedding and elopement photographer Jessica Schlamp - for British Columbia and Kelowna couples.

Hi! I am a wedding photographer based in Kelowna, in the gorgeous Okanagan Valley of Canada. I've been photographing weddings professionally since 2010. I love learning about people - their personalities, relationships, values, dreams and unique journey - then capturing this in my photography, creating dynamic story telling imagery. I'm always thinking of where that photo will be in 50 years, who it might impact and how the viewer will connect emotionally with my work. I now photograph between 25-30 weddings a year with my husband Andy. Together we are able to accomplish some pretty incredible things, and have poured our hearts into constant growth and the mastery of light. I constantly strive to take my work to the next level, using the highest quality cameras, lenses and strobe lighting to compose beautiful works of art that captivate people's imaginations and senses. As long as I can remember I've been creating, working hard, and dreaming big. I love to construct, creating extraordinary out of the everyday. Most of all I love to connect with individuals, encouraging or inspiring them in some way with every encounter. I bring all these skills to our photography business. They have laid a firm foundation for all that I do as a professional photographer. My photographs have been featured in numerous print and online magazines and blogs. As Jessica and Andy Studios grows I hope to positively impact my community and the lives of my family and others, as a direct byproduct of our work. It is an incredible honor to document each wedding and to produce images that will become my client's most precious heirlooms. As a wife and a mother to 3 beautiful kids, I know how priceless great photos are. They are a valuable investment worth far more than gold. I would love to be your photographer! Emma Rose began photographing weddings in 1999 in Vancouver, Canada

Emma Rose has had a life-long desire to capture the beauty in people, their surroundings and their emotions. What started as an exploration of all different types of artistic medium, including watercolour, acrylics, charcoal and pastel, turned to a more immediate capturing of people on photographic film in about 1997. Emma started photographing weddings in 1999 in Vancouver, and was immediately drawn to them as a venue for capturing people at their best and at a turning point in their lives. When she moved back to Halifax in 2002 she started what may have been the first photojournalistic wedding photography business in the city and quickly carved a niche amongst more traditional portrait photographers. When clients cried while looking at their wedding photographs, Emma knew there was something special in the way she captured weddings, and that continues to give her the energy to push the limits of creativity at each wedding. With just one photography and darkroom course under her belt and a handful of art classes, Emma is primarily self-taught in composition, technical elements and lighting with years of studying and appreciating all types of art. While some people live for the hustle and bustle of a big wedding with extravagant décor and an impossibly long guest list, others find these kinds of weddings to be too much hoopla, preferring instead something simpler and quieter, allowing for more intimacy between them and their fiancés on this special day. So how do you infuse your wedding with all the romance but none of the fuss? ALONE AT LAST Many couples these days are opting to elope rather than planning a large wedding. For the no-...Read more
WHAT EXACTLY DOES IT MEAN TO ELOPE? If you look up the definition of “elope” in the Merriam-Webster dictionary , you’ll find a plethora of meanings making it quite clear how polarizing the word has become, and how it has transformed and evolved with the passage of time and even personal preference.Read more

So your wedding is just around the corner and you’ve decided to elope , either because you want to do this on a budget , avoid a large wedding party, or simply to enjoy the day together with minimal distractions and as little stress as possible . They say 'all you need is love', but where exactly can you afford to trim the fat, so to speak? You want simplicity, but you also want to be properly married and, surely, to remember this occasion. Who, then, could be more important than...Read more
Not everyone has a lagoon or glacier next door, but there's no rule saying you can't have a small wedding in the great outdoors. Take advantage of natural sunshine and that open, airy feeling and give your guests some room to breathe! LESS IS MORE Instead of hemming your guests in on all sides, give them some elbow room, and legroom, too. There's no need to induce claustrophobia when you've got a wide, open space. Let your guests take in the view, especially if you've got a spectacular one. You...Read more

Traditionally speaking, often times it is the couple’s families who help pay for their wedding. However, unfortunately that’s just not possible for everyone, especially these days when the cost of weddings can quickly and easily get out of control. Some couples find themselves in the position of paying for all of their own wedding expenses, which can be quite the financial burden to take on, and about 40% of Millennials end up in this boat. So, how can you stick to your allotted...Read more

Some couples, as they begin planning for their weddings, might think that they are limited to the classic locations: churches, gardens, beaches, or even Las Vegas. But in doing so they’re missing out on a multitude of unique options that might suit their personalities much better! Why limit yourself to a quiet, quaint ceremony when your adventurous heart may be calling out for something more? An entirely different genre of wedding, so to speak, is the adventure wedding elopement. This concept...Read more
