York House Twickenham, Richmond upon Thames, London wedding image of the married couple
After the married couple is officially said to be husband and wife, there is a need to sign the marriage register filled with the couple's details. It is usually followed by big natural smiles.
This wedding elopement took place in one of my favorite London wedding venues - York House Twickenham, in Richmond upon Thames borough, London. The place is surrounded by English nature trust places. York House was built in the 17th century and is just perfect for weddings as there are neutral colors and the house is surrounded by stunning gardens and a forest full of singing birds. There are many rooms inside that can hold a different number of guests.
The wedding couple was waiting outside and prior to their ceremony, they had an interview with registrars. An engaged couple can choose and play their own music at this venue - this is something that can make the ceremony very personalized and special. As they had only 4 guests, the wedding organization was very easy and quick. Guests and witnesses entered the room and sat in their front seats, and straight after the wedding couple walked down the aisle hand in hand.
The ceremony was beautiful and made everyone very happy and laughed. As it sometimes happens, the ring got stuck on the groom's hand and the bride had to try really hard to push it in its place. But after that everything went to perfection, the couple became husband and wife, sign the register while all 4 of their guests were cheering and clapping their hands loud, one would believe there was a full room of guests.
Once outside of the York House, we headed to the York House gardens where there is a little pond with a bridge overlooking Thames River and artistic statues that are centuries old. All this just gives a perfect picture of a wedding taking place here.
