They say it’s never too late to get married, and this couple who met a little later in life are the proof. The two of them got ready at home and travelled by boat with their witnesses to Villa Baroni, a beautiful and elegant hotel on Lake Varese. Their Buddhist ceremony was performed by a Tibetan monk, and after the ceremony they held a dinner in the same location. The couple got to spend their day in the beautiful outdoors surrounded not only by their closest family members and friends, but by sunshine, lush greenery, and blue waters.
In this image, the couple sits together at the bow of the boat as they travel to the Villa Baroni across the lake along with their witnesses.
The groom has just finished shaving in front of the bathroom mirror and pats his face dry with a towel.
The groom gets to see the bride for the first time and eagerly greets her. The two are clearly excited for their ceremony and hold one another for a moment before leaving.
Dressed and ready to be married, the couple leaves their home to head towards the ceremony location. The two walk happily hand-in-hand down their driveway.
The bride and groom stand at the altar where the Buddhist monk pours oils as part of the ceremony. The guests all watch on the sunny lawn in the background.
The bride and groom, still standing hand-in-hand at the altar, now read out their vows to each other and to their guests.
After the ceremony, the guests give all their best wishes to the newlyweds as they all talk and share some glasses of wine outside.
The groom literally sweeps the bride off her feet as he scoops her up in his arms.
The newlyweds have a bit of fun as they walk down a dock on Lake Varese with their arms up in the air in celebration of their marriage.
