Toulouse City Hall / Chateau Labistoul, Cordes-sur-Ciel, France Elopement Photo Story Award

This intimate marriage took place in South West France in Toulouse and Cordes-sur-Ciel. The bride wanted a unique and poetic marriage, completely representing her style and personality. She did not choose a white wedding dress in accordance with tradition, but wore a red dress instead, setting the tone and color of the wedding. 

This was not a large wedding, and the couple chose to celebrate with a few friends and close family members instead. The civil ceremony took place in the magnificent city hall of Toulouse. The son of the bride presented the wedding rings on a dream catcher, perfectly fitting the whimsical and romantic atmosphere of the day. 

After the ceremony, the guests moved to Cordes-sur-Ciel for cocktails and the evening wedding reception at Château Labistoul, a small 11th century castle specializing in small weddings. Before cocktails, the couple went for a stroll in Cordes-sur-Ciel, which is a medieval city, a mecca of Occitan culture linked to the history of the Cathars. Despite a few delays and obstacles, bride, groom and their guests never let anything interfere with their joy! Overall it was a beautiful wedding full of happiness.

The bride and groom walk down the aisle together with their guests seated on either side. The ceremony takes place in the magnificent Salle des Mariage of the Toulouse City Hall, decorated with classical statues and a massive mural.

From above we can take in the beauty of the cocktail location, which took place outdoors in a courtyard surrounded by greenery and flowers with a fountain in the center.

The bride and groom have a romantic moment together as they dance to live guitar music during the cocktail party.
