Sapphire Point by Lake Dillon was their ceremony location choice. It was so snowy and windy that there wasn’t a view of the mountains, but it was definitely the winter wedding that Kristin always dreamed of!

A professional elopement photographer is a valuable addition to any small wedding, particularly for couples seeking an intimate and unique ceremony. Having an experienced photographer capture the moments of this special day allows the couple to fully immerse themselves in the moment, while also having timeless memories to look back on.

How does one go about finding a great wedding elopement photographer?

Firstly, it is crucial to seek out a photographer who specializes in capturing small destination elopements, such as a winter wedding in the mountains. This ensures that the photographer is well-versed in the unique challenges and intricacies of shooting in this specific setting.

In addition, a good elopement photographer should possess a variety of skills beyond just taking beautiful photos. They should have a keen eye for detail and the ability to capture candid and emotional moments. They should also be able to adapt and think on their feet, as elopements often have a spontaneous and unpredictable nature.

For a small elopement outside in the snow, a photographer with experience shooting in challenging weather conditions is a must. They should also have a creative and unique vision for capturing the couple's special day in this picturesque and wintry backdrop.
