Kelly and Marco’s story is about hope during these strange times. After having to announce to their friends and family that they had to postpone their wedding reception at Casa Real until next year, they decided to still go ahead and have an official ceremony in their backyard. While they may have to wait to have the full celebration, the couple was still able to enjoy an intimate and lovely backyard wedding on their original date.
Through the couple’s living room window, we can see them in their backyard being married under a flower-covered arch.
In the kitchen, the bride’s mother helps out by preparing dinner for the reception, which includes a large and fresh green salad.
As one guest waits in the living room, down the flower petal-covered hallway we can see the groom getting ready for the ceremony in the bathroom.
The couple holds hands beneath the floral arch, and while both are a little nervous, the happiness they feel is evident from their smiling faces.
At this point in the ceremony, the officiant asks to be presented with the rings, and the best man places them in the officiant’s hand.
The bride starts to become a bit emotional and sheds a few tears of joy as she looks into the groom’s eyes.
After the ceremony, as the newlyweds exit, their guests send them off under a shower of bubbles.
While the ceremony may have been small, this did not stop the couple and their guests from celebrating and enjoying themselves to the fullest, as evidenced here by the groom and another guest sharing a couple of celebratory cigars together.
The celebration went on into the night, and the backyard was lit up with fairy lights. The couple stands together with a small string of lights draped around them, illuminating their smiling faces.
