  • This was a gorgeous shot. I loved the use of the bridge as a backdrop and the crop works so well as the bridge fades into the right side of the frame. Unique vista behind couple makes image. Wished photographer had moved bridge from behind couples head.

  • This was a strong photo. Well composed to get the bride's reflection included in the photo. Very good “seeing” by the photographer. Beautiful light.
  • This is an impressive image with some fantastic lighting. It’s compositionally perfect with that gorgeous bluish-cyan often seen in the fleeting moments of twilight. Better still is that the bride is captured in the window reflection. This is about as good as it gets.

  • Another odd picture in that the bride seems content but the groom looks like he'd rather be somewhere else. She looks happy; he doesn't.

  • The composition of the steel beams and the use of stark lighting complement this bride and groom as they kiss. A very strong use of composition and angle lead the viewer around the photograph.

    • Beautiful scene that clearly captures the the glory of this amazing setting.
    • What a setting. This picture almost reminds you of a puzzle you’d put together -- a great rendition of a unique setting for a wedding reception.
    • Good thinking by the photographer to take this photograph from a distance to allow the structure and the landscape to speak for itself. The diffused, soft light helps to create a mood from another time.

    • With bouquets cast aside, the bridal party is caught sneaking a few bites of pizza. Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline make for a stunning backdrop. I love the facial expression of the central figure—he looks caught in the act!

      • This is a spontaneous moment that was captured from afar in a way that seems unknown to the subject. I like the sense of space in the picture.
