The bride and groom enjoy some time together right outside their house.
COVID-19 is a great disruption to our life but that didn't stop this couple from getting married. Take a look at this Indian wedding held inside a 3-room flat that was so beautiful!
Before the circuit breaker period kicks in to curb the spread of COVID-19, a wedding with less than 10 people was still allowed. Many wedding couples who already long-planned for their wedding event had to decide whether to postpone or continue by shrinking their event to a small intimate one.
Dan and Zara who long planned their wedding were affected. They actually intended to hold their wedding reception at their void deck to host around 300 guests. With the restriction of 10 people in an event, they had decided to shrink their guest list and had their wedding solemnization held inside a 3-room flat. I’m impressed by how much precaution measures they had made, such as temperature taking, sign-in book, sanitizer lotions at their main door, face-masks available for their guests, and planned their guests to arrive in batches at different times.
Having their wedding solemnization inside a 3-room flat doesn’t stop them and their guest from the joy of celebration. They had a beautiful floral backdrop right in the middle of the living room, simple decoration to beautify the place, and a buffet at the corner prepared by their family members. They started off with their wedding solemnization, their vows and ring exchange. Guests came to give their best wishes to the couple, enjoying food and accompany them. They even had a casual dance near the end of their wedding. Their family and guests were extremely friendly and fun-loving. Even I, as an external vendor, was also treated as one of their guests and I really appreciate that.
After attending their wedding, I truly understand that a wedding celebration is not about the venue or even how extravagant the wedding is. It is all about the people who really care and love you coming together, have fun, catching up, and giving their best wishes by being present.
