Catia and Ettore walk hand-in-hand down the aisle after they have been declared husband and wife. After a lifetime of waiting, this couple can finally spend eternity together.

When they were teenagers, Catia and Ettore fell in love — that elusive, young love that can be fleeting. After a brief time spent together, they went their separate ways and forged a path forward as adults. When they met again 30 years later, they knew that they were ready to spend a lifetime together.

Catia and Ettore planned an intimate outdoor wedding in Fazenda Maristela, Indaiatuba, Sao Paulo in Brazil, and on the morning of the wedding, it appeared as if it would be a perfect day filled with sunshine. However, as is expected during the course of any marriage, the unexpected happened and a rain shower threatened the event by the afternoon. Fortunately, the couple was able to weather the storm and immediately pivoted to their backup plan — a covered space nearby where they could say their vows in front of their closest family members and friends.
