While holding hands on the edge of Sunset Cliffs, Erika and Edwin commit their vows to one another in an intimate destination elopement ceremony overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Erika and Edwin first met when they were children growing up in New Jersey. After more than a decade of dating, they decided they wanted to return to their native New Jersey and host a grand wedding with all of their family members and friends. However, when the pandemic swept in and changed nearly everything, they decided to change their plans.
Instead of postponing their wedding and delaying their marriage, they opted for an intimate and breathtaking wedding on the Sunset Cliffs in San Diego. It was a day filled with personal touches, virtual experiences and even a few hilarious jokes along the way. While it wasn't the elaborate wedding they had always thought they would have, it was still memorable, moving and beautiful — just as it would have been if it had been in New Jersey.
