Commemorative photo with loved ones in the light of fireworks.

Joanna and Wojciech said 'Yes' to each other in a wonderful place with a rich history. Due to the prevailing pandemic and out of concern for the health of oneself and those of the closest ones, the ceremony was held in the company of family and closest friends in a beautiful church belonging to the Cistercian order.

After a short preparation, the young couple and their guests went to swear an oath of allegiance within the walls of the temple. Then the bride and groom invited everyone for a short treat. Here, according to tradition, the parents welcomed the young couple with bread and salt. The next guests would greet the young couple. In those troubled times in which they were to get married, these caring wishes sounded even more forcefully than usual.

The guests spent this wonderful day talking and having fun. The evening traditionally ended with a cake and a common photograph in the light of cold fires. For me, as the photographer responsible for capturing this event, it was also an amazing experience.
