The groom was Irish and wanted to stop at his local pub, The Old Shillelagh, for a pint after the ceremony. The couple sat undisturbed outside and enjoyed a drink.

A very relaxed Irish wedding in my home area of Stoke Newington in Hackney London. The couple were also local and wanted to tie the knot with minimal fuss. No formal portraits were wanted at all, only reportage. Clissold House is a popular venue that I have shot at before. The rooms are small but can be intensely bright when flooded with daylight due to the south-facing windows. The couple did not want many wedding traditions included in their big day. No confetti and no portraits. I enjoyed the additional pressure to produce a killa capture that could be framed up - the relaxed portrait of the two of them together where they both look great. I think I got the images they wanted, they were super chuffed with the series of images supplied.
