After the wedding shoot, the couple had to walk back to their car, but the bride was finding it a bit difficult to walk through the forest in high heels. Fortunately, the groom was there to help her.

Mark and Vreni, a couple as cool as their winter wedding, live in the neighborhood of Harderwijk in the middle of the Netherlands.  Because of Covid-19, they only had a very small ceremony, a little toast, and a short photoshoot. Only 15 guests were present, and it wasn’t possible to have a cake or an official toast. Nevertheless, they made the most of the circumstances by holding their ceremony in a quiet place—a forest at the edge of Harderwijk called the Strokerbos—for their intimate wedding. Because of safety restrictions, the couple and their guests were not able to have a proper reception, so everyone departed after the quiet, celebratory toast.  However, next winter in November the couple plans on having a big party to make up for it. Despite the fact that they couldn’t celebrate with a big wedding, it was important to the couple to get married now because they wanted to be sure that the bride’s grandfather would be able to attend. Grandpa was very happy to be able to witness this special moment.
