I always like a reflection shot and this mirror was nicely positioned to capture the groom and guests waiting patiently for the bride. The interview process at a civil marriage ceremony always takes far longer than one expects so the tension increases as the bride remains out of the room. Using the reflection also enables me not to point my cameras at the guests and groom who are in a small room. I try to be as 'fly on the wall' as I can be in a tiny room and not pointing lenses at everyone helps.
