Jennifer and Georgios opted for an intimate wedding at their villa, with just their closest family members present to witness it. The ceremony was conducted by ‘Theresa D’, who is a popular wedding celebrant in Dubai.The day started with Jennifer’s bridal preparations. She wore a stunningly simple yet elegant white dress made by ‘Rebekah’s Bespoke’ while surrounded by her daughters, soaking in the moment before she tied the knot.Jennifer was walked down the aisle by her son. The ceremony took place in front of a beautiful arch made up of flowers and leaves with the tops of palm trees peeping through behind it.The groom is Greek, so the ceremony was filled with a mixture of cultures. Some of the traditions were the ‘common cup’ where the couple take three sips of wine representing their union, and ‘Stefana’, where two crowns typically made from flowers and foliage are joined by a ribbon and placed onto the couple’s heads while being swapped a few times. They also exchanged rings and read vows.
After the ceremony was over, I took a few portraits of the bride and groom (and their dog) inside the couple’s villa before they joined the wedding party who was waiting to watch their first dance.The day finished with an intimate dinner with hot food being served up in the garden.
