At one point, Jordan and Tanay had a grand and formal wedding planned for the fall of 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to delay their plans. Once they realized that it would not be possible to have the wedding they had originally imagined for quite some time, they decided that the next best step was to simply get married to one another.
It may not have been the dreamlike day that they had first planned, but their intimate wedding ceremony on the private balcony of The Phoenician Resort on a balmy spring evening in April was no less magical.
