5th place in Transportation

Wedding photographer Narin Nirundarangkul, was awarded 5th place for photo 1343921 in the Transportation category for the WPJA's 2013 Q4 Contest.

The WPJA contest judges presented Narin Nirundarangkul, a Krabi, Thailand wedding photographer, with this Master Piece Award as recognition for top wedding photojournalism in the industry.

The leading documentary wedding photographers in the world enter their best photos to the Wedding Photojournalist Association's photography competitions. They want their wedding reportage photographs to be evaluated and selected by some of the most notable and respected working picture editors and photojournalists in the news industry (these are not wedding photographers or other WPJA members judging their work). Winning these competitions is a true accomplishment for a wedding photographer.


  • You know, as beautiful a creature as an elephant is, it looks like a pain in the butt to ride. This image aptly portrays the ungainly quirkiness of climbing on top of a multi-ton creature. Yet, with the aid of three others, this bride steps on the elephant’s massive head to assume her place as an Asian Queen for the day. The photo tells more than one story.
