In 2004, he was a Pulitzer Prize Winner for his photographs depicting the violence and poignancy of the war with Iraq. Preston Gannaway is a staff photographer at The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, VA. She spent a year on staff at the Rocky Mountain News before its closure in 2009. Prior to that, she was a photojournalist for the Concord Monitor in New Hampshire (2003-2008). Gannaway's documentary story on the St. Pierre family, Remember Me, was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for feature photography in 2008.
