Bio: Jenny's fascination with the study of photography in high school and college led her to receive her Bachelors Degree in Studio Art at Indiana University in 2005. She began shooting weddings in July of 2005 and shoots on average 25 weddings per year. Her desire to push herself artistically, her passion for detail, love for her clients and warm personality offer a unique perspective for capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments.
Bio: Anne Ruthmann has been passionately photographing weddings since 2004, after being inspired by the fleeting moments of her own wedding in 2003. She has spent her life studying art and music from around the world and is passionate about supporting indie artists and musicians. Her desire to document stories comes from her love of all people and a deep appreciation for emotional moments. When not photographing weddings or studying her craft, you can find Anne attending live music events, gallery openings, and traveling the world with her husband.
Even though Anne has received awards from the WPJA and AGWPJA, she continues to push herself as an artist and photojournalist by attending classes and workshops whenever possible to help her see the world in new ways. Anne has also made it a priority to help protect the environment by adapting a paperless and energy efficient office to help reduce waste, and by using recycled and reusable products whenever possible. In order to make the above possible, Anne takes no more than 30 weddings per year, and prefers to photograph only one wedding per weekend in order to give each couple her undivided talent and attention.
Bio: Matthew Whitlock went to Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA right out of high school to study theater - focusing on technical design and lighting design. He switched his major to Fine Art Photography his Junior year and never looked back. The lighting design experience he gained in the theater directly benefited his portrait photography, and was enhanced during his semester internship with Jill Greenberg Studio in New York City, NY.
After graduating from Coe, he moved back to South Bend and began work for Fan Action, INC - the publishers of Blue & Gold Illustrated (a Notre Dame Football Magazine) and Blue Gold Traditions (a Notre Dame Merchandiser). At Fan Action, he did all of the product photography for their many websites and catalogs, and shot sports photojournalism for the newspaper. Noticing the recent trend in Wedding Photojournalism, he saw the perfect opportunity to link his two passions - photojournalism and portrait photography, and Zeta-Alpha Studio was born.

More and more couples are seeking out the top wedding photojournalists in the world through the WPJA web site.
May 16th, 17th & 18th, 2008: Sponsored by the WPJA, the three-day VII Seminar in New York City will be held at the Klitgord Auditorium of the NYC Technical College. VII will put on
presentations by each of their 11 photographers, a few of their new Network photographers, sponsors and special guests. They are organizing a panel discussion on "Photojournalism within the context of
Contemporary Photography". They will also be hosting exclusive VII Seminar evening events in the new VII DUMBO space on 28 Jay Street.

As the 19th state in the Union, the Midwestern state of Indiana provides a fabulous setting in many ways for unforgettable wedding ceremonies and brilliant wedding photographs. Included as one of the Great Lake states, Indiana borders Lake Michigan at the north and shares the Ohio River with Kentucky at the south. The Wabash River, the White River, and the 24 state parks set the stage for beautiful wedding pictures and striking moments that will be captured by your wedding photographer.
