1. I have been receiving tons of inquiries that are coming directly from being listed on the WPJA and [AG]WPJA! Not to mention they are from couples that are really embracing the pj style and understand my role as a photographic storyteller. Many of my leads are also from out of town clients...
2. I am writing to thank you for all the hard work on the site that you've done lately; it looks amazing! I have had quite a few inquiries and some bookings that I can accredit to the wpja site. It's working!

If you choose one of our WPJA Manitoba wedding photojournalists
as your wedding photographer, please let them know you found
them through the Wedding Photojournalist Association.
The WPJA at a glance: The Wedding Photojournalist Association
puts the best Manitoba wedding photographers at your fingertips,
by granting membership only to the most talented professional
wedding photographers in the world--photographers who focus solely
on using their documentary photography skills to capture the
moments of your wedding day.
Some of the best Manitoba fine art wedding photographers are now just a click away through the Artistic Guild of the WPJA! The AG takes the world-renowned artistic approach of WPJA wedding photojournalists to yet another level through post-production processing (usually Photoshop). AGWPJA photographers define Manitoba artistic wedding photography!
The WPJA is proud to launch the first annual Trash The Dress photography contest specifically designed to recognize the exceptional talent of our esteemed members.
Trash The Dress (TTD) competition entries are created after the ceremony with primary direction provided by the photographer. Entries are judged on creativity, technical proficiency, composition and lighting.
Gritty, romantic and uniquely sexy, TTD photo shoots challenge the photographer’s creativity, imagination and technical aptitude. Enjoyed by thousands of brides and couples worldwide, these on-location photo sessions commemorate the wedding and cherished gown within a glamorous, frivolous and often lively post-nuptial portfolio. TTD sessions meld formal wedding attire within unconventional settings. For example, sessions are frequently held on sandy beaches, amidst crashing ocean waves, at rustic farms, on playgrounds or in urban settings.
After the nuptials but before it’s boxed, the wedding gown is taken to a completely new level during a Trash The Dress session. We invite members to exhibit their creativity through our newest competition. Submit your entries by Friday, September 19th, 2008 in our exciting, first annual TTD competition!
BRIDES MAGAZINE & the Wedding Photojournalist Association proudly present a Wedding Photojournalism Contest.
The WPJA/BRIDES Wedding Photojournalism Contest spotlights the finest images from the best wedding photojournalists on the pages of one of the most world-renowned wedding publications and the web sites of the WPJA and BRIDES.
For most brides and grooms, wedding photojournalism is no longer a trendy alternative to traditional wedding day photo-coverage; rather, it is mainstream wedding photography. The WPJA has been leading the way in promoting and rewarding photographers who excel in capturing the un-styled and un-scripted moments of the wedding day. More and more couples are seeking out the top wedding photojournalists in the world through the WPJA web site.
