JUDGES COMMENTS: Another tough category. There were a lot of worthy action shots. This won out for me because it was a genuine moment of the bride and groom. A couple of the swinging pictures had slightly better action, but this one had the edge, because of the subtle reaction on the bride’s face and the crowd all watching in the background.

The bride being off the ground, the photo is all action. Well executed with just enough blur in the dress to give a sense of movement.
