JUDGES COMMENTS: Great detail here on the hands contrasting her elegant dress. I think what makes this photo is also the layering of the shot through the veil where you see the detail of the beaded veil and the ring.

The picture really stood out. Wonderful tight composition. I loved the rough hands in contrast to the lace and tulle. Beautiful light. It could have been just as strong in black and white.
