JUDGES COMMENTS: This one really jumped out at me. Beautiful, meaningful moment. Good composition. The photographer looked past the obvious and found a really special, real picture. This was the hardest category to judge because there were so many good pictures.

Great moments, peak action, portfolio photographs are certainly worthwhile objectives for a shoot, but I imagine the photographs that really count for a wedding photographer are the ones that the bridal couple and the families treasure for years. This is one.
