JUDGES COMMENTS: This picture works really well in b&w with the tree branches forming a canopy over the top of the frame lending a spooky atmosphere. Shot on a nice angle (up a tree??).
The photographer has a remarkable feeling for the environment. Even if I can’t see the guests in this photo, that doesn’t disturb me. It’s a good choice to take this photo in black/white. The graphic aspect gives the picture freshness.
