A native of New York City, Kemmeo Parr lives with her husband and toddler (and two frogs) in Oakland, California where she enjoys storytelling in the form of photography. When she isn't photographing weddings and people, she enjoys gardening, hiking, knitting and making artisan breads and cheeses. She moved to the Bay Area in 2001 and fell in love with the landscape and the warmth of the people. Kemmeo received her BA in Photography at Bennington College in 1998 and her MFA at California College of the Arts (formerly CCAC) in 2003.
She has been in the photography business since 1998 and in addition to photographing weddings she freelances for both Editorial and Advertising Agencies. Her editorial client list includes the New York Times, Rolling Stone, and New York Magazines.
