For me it’s those real and unscripted moments that will bring the memories flooding back year after year. My images are informal and intensely atmospheric, they have an intimacy that makes a viewer feel as if they were there even if they weren’t. I get under the skin of the day by listening and watching what’s happening around me without ever intervening or directing. I photograph the day as it happens, anticipating moments and always looking for an interesting perspective. Keen observations are the key to capturing meaningful moments that collectively tell the story of you, your family and your friends for years to come... I shot my first wedding in 2007 after leaving a career as a tv producer to study for a photography degree. Getting into photographing weddings is one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I use my experience of documentary making in my creative story telling and my very unobtrusive way of working.
