Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where can I find a photographer for a short-notice, small East Sussex wedding?
A: There are many WPJA photographers who are able to help you out at a moment's notice. We understand that sometimes love happens and there's simply no time to lose. We can ensure that you can get married as quickly as possible — and have incredible photographs to remember your East Sussex wedding day by.
Q: How can couples find East Sussex photographers for pre-wedding engagement portraits?
A: The WPJA issues Diamond Awards for East Sussex wedding photographers to showcase their best engagement photography work. These awards are given to photographers who prove that they have an ability to be creative, artistic, and intuitive while working on-location with couples who are newly engaged.
Q: How can couples find reviews of East Sussex wedding photographers?
A: We call them Client Letters. At the WPJA, we decided more than 20 years ago to avoid incorporating those third-person testimonials and endorsements that are found all too often in advertisements. Instead, we elevated our listings with the use of Client Letters, which represent the actual words and feelings of the clients who booked those East Sussex wedding photographers for their own wedding.

What can we say! From start to finish, you gave us the most amazing service!! We were both so nervous and you completely put us at ease. It was amazing to have you as part of our day and it shows in the photos how much fun everyone had having their photos taken by you. You went above and beyond providing us the most amazing photos, far better than we ever imagined and now we can't stop looking at them! I want to do it all again. We are so unbelievably thankful and can't recommend you highly enough! You truly captured every single moment of our day! Can we do it again? Pretty please? x

We really enjoyed working with you back in August 2014, you took the time in getting to know us and what we wanted. You were professional, discreet and nothing was too much to ask. On the day we had an issue in that we were unable to take our traditional photographs in a certain place and so we were unable to have them. I didn't need to worry though as you were very creative and took natural action shots of all my family and friends which definitely made up for the earlier issue. I love looking at my wedding photographs and I always get comments on how beautiful and natural the photographs are. Thank you Ben.

You shot our Dorset wedding back in September and I have to say from start to finish you was a pleasure to work with the pictures have come out better than we could have wished for. We opted for the second shooter (Chris) option and they worked superbly as a team. All of our guests commented on what a great duo they were! Thanks Ben for giving us such great photos to remind us of our special day! Mr & Mrs Dawson
