My name is Stefano Granata. I was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 1980. I’m a “Frankfurter” at heart and still live there with my wife. I started being interested in visual arts and especially photography very early in my life. In the first place taking photos was a hobby, but it became a passion throughout the years. Being self-employed in the advertising industry I provided pictures with the necessary fine-tuning, but could not hide the fact that I was as interested in the generative process of photos. This is why I made my passion a profession.

The final touches and years of experience were gained in the international arena. In the end of the 1990s I started working as a press photographer for the Mediterraneo Magazine (Miss Italia nel mondo, Miss Deutschland) and thus gained further experience in the field of object photography, event photography, and portraits including design and post-production. But until today my greatest passion is wedding photography, which I consider as Champions League. There is a story to be told of that moment in time and something about the people in the photos. It’s all about you, your story and those important moments. There is no second chance for real emotions and the magic of that moment. Every shot counts – the sparkle in the eye, the look of love – these impressions can only be captured, they can never be staged. These picture-perfect moments are pure perfection which lies in my experience, my first-class equipment and my unobstrusive way of work.
The biggest challenge wedding photography has to offer is the interaction with people in front of the camera. Only when they feel unobserved, true feelings and emotions become visible.
To overcome any fears couples may have in front of the camera, the first stage is getting to know each other. This serves as the basis for your “perfect wedding story”.
I really look forward to meeting you. Hope to see you soon.
