My love for wedding documentary photography comes from the desire to capture long lasting memories for my clients of one of their best days in their lives, their wedding day. It is my belief that the wedding day is about the couple and their friends and family and as such I want to provide a real and honest representation of their wedding day by not interfering during the day apart from a small set of group and portrait shots if requested. I am largely self taught, having attended many seminars and workshops and then spent a year working and being mentored by an award-winning documentary wedding photographer to work on my style and technique. I shoot approximately 40 wedding per year.

I am a husband and father and I enjoy playing golf also when the time allows. I love reading and playing the guitar. My professional background before photography was in corporate business.
