Gilberlandio Moreira Monteiro
I spent much of my childhood in the city of Salvador, State of Bahia for 13 years and returned to João Pessoa. My first contact with photography was in 1996 when a cousin showed me a camera he used in the events photographed. It was love at first sight. It woke me up and from this day forward I spent a lot of time studying the subject, so I bought my first camera, a Vivitar 3200S. I fell in love with photographing in social settings, shooting people. Since then I have tried to capture with my lens all the expressions, emotions and anxieties.
