My work reflects my affection for creating beautiful images by shaping natural and artificial light. I take this approach to every type of photography I do, be it portrait, commercial, editorial, or weddings.

I have been a photographer ever since I can remember. As a child, I would grab a Pentax SLR from my parent's bedroom and play with it, to the horror of my mother, who was also a photojournalist.
During my school years at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I worked at the Daily Cardinal and Badger Herald, the school newspapers, as a photographer. After graduating, I interned as a photographer at the Wisconsin State Journal and I have been freelancing as a Photojournalist since then. My work has been published in several publications such as the Wisconsin State Journal, The Capital Times, Madison Magazine, Milwaukee Magazine, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, The Star Tribune, and others around the Midwest.
In 2010, I founded a photography studio and named it Red Wave Pictures. My goal is to bring talented photographers together and create a community in which every photographer would learn from each other's strengths and help each other grow.
