My interest in photography started as a child, shooting on my Dad's 35mm Canon. When I was 16 I went on to study photography A Level at college and later a degree at the University of Westminster in London, where I graduated in 2005. Since then, I have freelanced in Europe and Asia, shooting a mixture of news, weddings, portraits, events, photography for NGO's (Greenpeace and Actionaid included) and my own personal projects.

I love photographing people and I always enjoy the variation of photo-opportunities that a wedding has to offer. Last year I shot around 30 weddings and they were a real mixture - Jewish, Hindu, Muslim and Humanist as well as more traditional ceremonies. Each wedding is so unique and it's really inspiring to photograph such intimate and cultural occasions. I find that a documentary style is the best way to truly capture the magic of a wedding and those fleeting moments which convey the emotion and atmosphere of the day. I always look to tell good stories with my pictures, whether it's a joyful wedding celebration or a grittier social issue.
My base is in London, although I work all over the country.
