I never intended to become a professional photographer.

I only wanted to experience the world, learn everything I could, love God and others with all of my heart, and make a difference in people’s lives. But ever since I picked up a camera in my high school photography class, it has become a part of who I am. It has shaped my dreams and the way I see the world.

I graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Photojournalism and have since worked for MediaStorm, The Muskegon Chronicle, The Syracuse Post-Standard, and Every Child Ministries. My time is split between two worlds: being a wedding/portrait photographer and being a freelance photojournalist.

I love every minute of it.

Call me crazy, but I believe that photographs have the power to change the world. I live for the amazing stories I get to tell and the incredible people I get to meet–whether it’s a blushing bride or a child that has survived a civil war. I’m passionate about the photographs I take and the memories that will last a lifetime.
