Albert Cheung

Albert Cheung is a New York City-based photographer specializing in wedding photojournalism, travel documentary, and environmental portraiture. He has covered weddings internationally and has been commissioned for various commercial, editorial, and documentary assignments. His editorial images have been published in the New York Times and appeared on book covers by Simon & Schuster. Albert earned a professional degree in Architecture from Cornell University and spent several years practicing as an architect prior to his investment into photography. His keen style reflects his formalistic training of composition and perspective married to the evocative expression, while being engaging yet unobtrusive in his approach with people and their surroundings.

Albert is a second-generation Chinese-American currently living in New York City. He is married to his wife, Soo, and can be frequently spotted eating coffee beans right off the shelf at supermarkets nationwide.
