My name is Thomas, Thomas Hundt - I have created Moments to Remember to shoot and capture all those little moments, emotions and details, that makes every single wedding unique and unforgettable. I started photographing when I was a teen - inspired by my dad, who had already photographed the wedding of my wife's parents - what a coincidence. I always liked the scopes one has working with a professional cam having the possibility to influence each shoot with manual settings - so from the beginning I only worked with SLRs. Then, in my mid-20ies, friends asked me to capture their wedding - before that I was mainly concentrating on landscapes and architecture - however I loved the challenge this new area of photography offered to me. So I started to dig into the secrets of wedding photography and over the years I got passionate about this and I specialized in this very challenging area.
In my shoots, I concentrate on interesting angles, awesome emotions and impressive colors.
My office is based near Frankfurt, Germany and currently, I shoot about 25 weddings / year. I always establish a very good, friendly relationship with all of my couples. Even after years, I am still in contact with some of them, meeting from time to time, chatting about their wedding, the moments and the memories.

12th Place: Creative Portrait - 2011 Q4 ContestPhotographer's Comment
Apart from shooting all the moments and emotions that happen during the day of the wedding, I also usually try to arrange for creative group shoots - arranging only the ladies together with the bride or all the guys together with the groom. But instead of letting them just stand beside each other, I always try to put some action into the shoot - let them jump. This shoot was taken on a golfing area, there were a lot of ladies, who wanted to pose with the bride. I was really surprised that almost all ladies arranged to jump together - apart from one - however especially this one lady, gives the photo the very special and unique character.
The Wedding Photojournalist Association proudly recognizes the accomplishments and creative excellence of Thomas Hundt. The following awards have been earned by Thomas from the WPJA. These achievements come with great merit considering the high level of competition that a member faces in the contests.
