I have been a professional wedding photographer for 13 years. Since graduating with an HNC in photography in 1998 I have photographed hundreds of weddings. My photography is: listening, watching, waiting, being aware, tuning in.
My genuine interest is to find out about people-understanding their story- has always led me forward. My first degree taught me about the ‘non participant observer’; and my professional career in guidance taught me to be ‘client centered’. All of these previous skills, experience and interests now form part of my relationship with people. It is built on trust, which we develop quickly and move into some very natural photographs.
I am also a self taught artist, drawing and painting from my photographs so that they are often mistaken for each other. I am inspired by what happens naturally and by beautiful light. I have exhibited my work for many years and at a turning point in my life decided to study photography rather than art in a moment of inspiration. I’m really glad that I did.

I am available for weddings all over the UK. All packages include a CD with copyright and your choice of images. Coverage time is at the level you want so either core time or all day. All clients are also entitled to a complimentary portrait session which you can use at any time before or after the wedding. Many client's return with their children years later which is lovely. I also provide on line proofing and ordering which can be shared with family and friends.
