My name is Ben Eng and I am a wedding photographer based out of the Telluride and Durango areas of Southwest Colorado. I moved to the area in 1997 to finish my last couple of years of school at Fort Lewis College in Durango, and with the exception of a couple of winters in Breckenridge and Salt Lake City have been here since. I got my start as a professional photographer shooting stock ski and snowboard images for Durango Mountain Resort and as a stringer for the fledgling Durango Telegraph newspaper. I later got into wedding photography when all of my friends starting getting married and eventually approached and convinced me to shoot their weddings. I quickly realized that the challenge and reward of creating beautiful imagery that my friends would cherish for a lifetime was right up my alley (and fun). These days I am a full-time wedding photographer, and because my personal life is dedicated to the mountains I still keep my feet in the ski and snowboard industry shooting for regular clients such as the Telluride Ski Resort, Venture Snowboards, and Frequency Snowboard Magazine, as well as just for fun.
