My work has appeared in publications such as the USA Today, The New York Times, People magazine, The Los Angeles Times and The Charlotte Observer. I worked for newspapers and news services, covering events from professional sports to presidential visits, then spent a few years perfecting the art of shooting children's portraits. I also have many years experience in commercial motorsports photography, photographing NASCAR stars as they interact with fans, race to the finish and celebrate in Victory Lane.

I believe that my job as a photographer is to document life as it happens. My trained eye and documentary approach help me find the moments that define events and give me the confidence to let them unfold naturally.

I love shooting weddings, families and other special events because I get to experience people at their best.
