Travis began shooting weddings while working as a newspaper photojournalist in the Chicago suburbs. Travis continues to shoot news and sports, but now focuses primarily on weddings. He currently splits time between Chicago and Fargo, N.D. where he lives with his wife. His work has been recognized by the Michigan and Illinois Press Photographers Associations and the Associated Collegiate Press.

He was named 2005 College Photographer of the Year by the MPPA. His photos have appeared in major publications throughout the Midwest, including the Chicago Sun-Times, the St. Louis Post Dispatch and the Detroit Free Press. Read More...
