I first fell in love with photography in my high school darkroom shooting with my mom's old manual Pentax. I still have it and shoot with it when I am up for the challenge. However, I didn't really become one with my camera until I explored Asia for a year and a half with my graduation gift - a Nikon D70. I still wish I read the manual before I left but I came back with a more developed eye and a deep understanding of my camera.
