Beck Diefenbach (b. 1985) is a San Francisco, Calif., native and a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Recently, he was a staff photographer at the Daily Chronicle in DeKalb, Ill., where he received 29 individual photo awards for his documentary and portrait work.

In October of 2010, Diefenbach attended the 23rd annual Eddie Adams Photojournalism Workshop in New York. EAW is the premier merit-based photojournalist workshop for up and coming documentary photographers.
