Kathleen Hinkel
Kathleen started working as a professional photojournalist in 2004 after studying visual journalism at the Brooks Institute of Photography in Ventura, California. Kathleen spent four years working as a photojournalist in Florida covering regional news, sports and features for the Gannett Company's Florida Today newspaper. In 2008 she relocated to British Columbia where in addition to offering documentary-style wedding photography she freelances as a travel photographer and professional sports photojournalist. Kathleen approaches weddings in much the same way she approaches her photojournalism assignments; she simply lets the couple's day unfold in front of her camera, focusing on capturing found, candid and true moments of a memorable day.
